    CONTROLLER`S IDENTITY AND CONTACT DETAILS

    The data controllers are all entities belonging to the FundingBox capital group as the Joint Controllers. All FundingBox entities have agreed on common data processing purposes. In all matters regarding personal data, you can contact us using the following email address: privacy@fundingbox.com. The essence of the arrangement is available here.

    PURPOSES, LEGAL BASIS AND PROCESSING PERIOD

    The purpose and legitimate interest of processing:

    1) To run the recruitment process and to establish cooperation.
    2) To realize the goals related to the implementation of the FundingBox’ public funded projects (e.g. recruitment of the evaluators, mentors and ambassadors, communication, reporting, collaborating with other project partners).
    3) To collect feedback about expert’s performance.
    4) Adding to the FundingBox expert database in order to continue cooperation on other FundingBox business ventures.
    5) Sharing your contact details with our business partners in order to offer you new business opportunities, in particular cooperation as an expert in other European projects.

    Legal basis for processing – Legitimate interest of FundingBox (based on Article 6.1.(f) of GDPR) which is fulfilling the obligations and our other interests related to these purposes.
    Period – For two years after the applicant has withdrawn his application or for two years after his application has been rejected.

    6) To share your image publicly, in particular, social media to promote projects and FundingBox activities.
    Legal basis for processing – Consent based on Article 6.1.(a) of GDPR.
    Period – Until withdrawal.

    If an applicant has been invited to start the cooperation:

    7) To conclude a contract with selected applicant.
    Legal basis for processing – Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract (based on Article 6, paragraph 1 (b) of GDPR).
    Period – until the contract is terminated.

    Important

    FundingBox will process your personal data regarding your gender due to the following reasons:
    1) implementation of the particular project’s goals may require meeting a gender-related KPI (Key Performance Indicators), so information about your gender might constitute a significant factor while making decision on involving you into a project,
    2) we want to address you in the right way – respecting your gender identity.

    DATA RECEIVERS

    Due to the fact that we use the services of Google LLC and HubSpot, Inc, your data may be transferred to the USA. We have concluded an agreement with this entity – the so-called Standard Contractual Clauses. This means that in accordance with the decision of the European Commission No. 2021/914 EU of June 4, 2021, your personal data may be processed by this company in the USA. More information about the decision at: https://fundingbox.com/trust/transfer-outside-eea/.

    To realize the project, data can be transferred to project partners (complete list of the project partners is available at the email address: privacy@fundingbox.com), the European Commission, its agencies, auditors and other European Union’s bodies and authorities, in particular OLAF, ECA, EPPO.

    RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECT (YOURS)

    Due to the fact that we process your personal data, you have the right to:
    1) request access to your personal data,
    2) demand the rectification of your personal data,
    3) request to remove or limit the processing of your personal data,
    4) data portability with respect to the personal data that you have provided to the controller,
    5) to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal (to withdraw the consent contact us via privacy@fundingbox.com using the same email account you used for providing the consent),
    5) complain with the supervisory authority (https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en).

    You also have a right to object to processing of your personal data for all purposes indicated above (according to Article 21 of GDPR).

    INFORMATION ABOUT VOLUNTARY OR OBLIGATORY DATA PROVISION

    Providing data is voluntary, although it is necessary to take part in the recruitment process. Without providing your data, it is not possible to contact you.
