We have participated in several EC projects, distributing over €139m in cascade funding projects (non-refundable grants) and producing over 1500 governmental-funded champions up to date.

We are the leading facilitator of pan-European initiatives

The Group has managed many pan-European cascade funding initiatives such as IMPACT, IMPACT Connected Car, Robot Union, BEYOND (Cross-border investments) and is currently coordinating the largest Financial Support for Third Parties* – Seeds of Bravery: €20m EIC-funded project dedicated to support Ukraine’s tech ecosystem.

As part of the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change under Horizon Europe, we support the adoption of Climate Risk Assessment tools in regions and communities. By helping localities better understand and mitigate climate risks, we contribute to building more resilient ecosystems and economies

Harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI), we aim to improve design, manufacturing, and end-of-life processes for industrial equipment, thereby reducing their environmental impact. AIDEAS drives innovation that helps industries shrink their environmental footprint through smarter, more efficient production and recycling methods

Our efforts in this project are key to supporting the European Green Deal by facilitating the twin green and digital transitions of European industries. Through innovations in greenhouse gas reduction, energy efficiency, and waste management, we work toward a future where sustainability and digitalization go hand-in-hand.

In collaboration with our partners, we explore how digital technologies and applications can reduce food waste, create more sustainable value chains, and encourage ethical food consumption. Our goal is to drive a circular economy and promote responsible consumption across communities

We explore the societal implications of human-robot interaction across sectors like healthcare, manufacturing, and services. By analyzing these interactions, we contribute to ethical advancements in technology within the framework of ICT Innovation for Manufacturing SMEs (I4MS).

EC Financial Audits: In 2022, FundingBox Accelerator successfully passed audits conducted by the European Commission’s (EC) financial services, covering five projects, including those utilizing Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP). These audits confirmed that our FSTP management procedures are fully compliant with the applicable regulations, reinforcing our commitment to robust governance and financial accountability.
